  • DESCRIPTION

The Machupicchu Rainbow Mountain ATV tour is one of the most complete experiences in Cusco. It begins with a panoramic train journey to Aguas Calientes, the picturesque town that serves as the gateway to Machu Picchu. From there, you will take a bus that will take you directly to the famous Inca citadel.
Accompanied by a professional guide, you will explore temples, agricultural terraces, plazas, and viewpoints, discovering the history and spiritual importance of this sacred site. Afterwards, you will have free time to explore on your own before returning to Cusco to rest for the next day’s adventure.
At dawn on the second day, we will begin the journey to Cusipata, where you will enjoy a buffet breakfast. We will then continue to Japura, the starting point of the ATV route. Here, you will receive a brief safety briefing before starting the ATV ride toward the Rainbow Mountain, crossing high-Andean landscapes dominated by llamas, alpacas, and snow-capped peaks.
From the drop-off point, we will take a short hike—with the option of riding a horse or motorcycle—to the Vinicunca viewpoint, where you will admire its impressive natural colors formed by minerals deposited millions of years ago. Finally, we will return by ATV to Japura, enjoy a buffet lunch in Cusipata, and head back to Cusco. This tour offers the perfect balance between cultural heritage and extreme adventure in the Andes.
