  • Day 1Cusco – Abra Pukakasa – Ananta

    Early departure from Cusco to the south of the Sacred Valley by tourist transport (approx. 3 hours). Observation of the Vilcanota mountain range and Andean villages along the route. Start of the hike with a moderate ascent to Pucacocha Lagoon (scenic lunch). Ascent to Pucacocha Pass (close to 5,000 m.a.s.l.), views of Ausangate and Andean camelids. 2-hour descent to Ananta, first campsite under the starry sky.
    The first day allows gradual acclimatization and enjoyment of high mountain landscapes, with the opportunity to observe local fauna such as alpacas and vicuñas.
