TREK CHINCHERO URQUILLOS

Trek Chinchero Urquillos, is an activity that takes place 28 km from the  city of Cusco, exactly in the town of "Chinchero" which is one of the most typical and picturesque inhabitants of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Chinchero and Urquillos were towns connected by the Inca Trail, which to this day exists for much of the trek.  Making it one of the most beloved destinations in the Sacred Valley of the Incas.

On this walk we will witness a beautiful viewpoint towards the Urquillos Valley. In the distance you can also see beautiful snowy peaks, a small stream that can be seen in the distance, which gives a beautiful color to the valley in the lower part.

In addition, on this walk from Chinchero to Urquillos we will see the network of Inca roads, most of which are well-preserved. Likewise, we will visit the famous "Poq Poq" waterfall. In the lower part we can see crops of corn, avocados, fruits, among others. Which make this valley a true paradise, along with the singing of birds and hummingbirds that show their skill in front of the flowers.

Chinchero to Urquillos Hike Program.

We start with him picking him up from his accommodation at 08:00 am, and then, transfer him for a time of 45 minutes to the town of Chinchero. Once arrived, our guide will provide all the necessary necessities for the 4-hour walk. We begin the walk for 1 hour until we reach the impressive "Poq Poq" waterfall, there will be a reasonable time to take photos and videos.

Likewise, we begin to descend along the Inca trail until we reach beautiful crops that paint this valley green. After a walk of approximately 3 hours, we arrive at the picturesque town of Urquillos. Here, you will be able to see the export corn plantations up close.

Finally, arriving at the main track of Urquillos, our tourist transport will be waiting to return to the city of Cusco.
