DAY 1: CUSCO- UPIS- THERMAL BATHS
We will start the trip, picking you up at 4:30 a.m. then we will translate you from Cusco to Tinke (Ocongate) in our tourist transport (2 hours and a half). When we arrive, we will have breakfast at 8:00 a.m. and then we will walk more than 2 hours to the community of Upis. There, we will have lunch, prepared by our professional chef.
After that, we will enjoy the thermal baths that are near to the camping spot; although, an alternative route, would be Upis lagoon, but we will have to walk 2 hours more approx.
To culminate this day, we will have our dinner at 6:00 p.m. and we could sleep as well to wake up early the next day.
DAY 2: UPIS- PASO ARAPA- PUCACOCHA
We will start our second day, having breakfast at 5:00 a.m. then we will walk to “Arapa Pass”. After 5 hours we will arrive to Pucacocha lagoon, where we could appreciate the beautiful landscapes, likewise the flora and fauna.
Subsequently, we will install our camp and have lunch thanks to our chef. After that, we could take photos and videos of the place.
The day will finish having our dinner and overnight in Pucacocha.
DAY 3: PUCACOCHA- ANANTA- KAYRAWIRI
The day starts having breakfast prepared by our chef. Then, we will go to “Pucacocha Pass” (5051 m.a.s.l.); on the way we will have the opportunity to appreciate the surroundings and take many photos of the gorgeous scenery.
We will walk to Red Mountain (in the Ananta Valley) hereunder, there we will have lunch, and we will move on the way to “Abra Warmisaya”, located at 4500 m.a.s.l. (2 hours approx.); during the walk, we could behold the landscape of rainbow mountain, some animals like llamas, vizcachas and the impressive condor.
To culminate the day, we will surround the small lagoon on the way to Kayrawiri, where we will rest, have dinner and overnight.
DAY 4: KAYRAWIRI- RAINBOW MOUNTAIN – RED VALLEY – CUSCO
The fourth day, we will have breakfast at 6:00 a.m. to climb the rainbow mountain in an hour approx. We will arrive to the viewpoint at 8:00 a.m. and we will have 1 hour to take many photos and videos of the place.
After this visit, we will go to the Red Valley (located at 5020 m.a.s.l.) and we will have 2 hours to behold the landscape and take amazing photos. Then, we will descend to the parking and take our transport to have lunch in “La Montana Restaurant”.
Finally, we will return to the city of Cusco.
