TOUR TIPON FULL DAY

For those who wish to explore the South Valley of Cusco and its wonders in greater depth, a full day tour of Tipon is an absolute must.

Tipon is an archaeological site located at 10 km. from the city of Cusco, here you could appreciate the incredible hydraulic system; indeed, it was an important center of farm production. For this reason, exist 12 terraces with fertile soil that are still farmed by the people.

Furthermore, it was the first Inca enclosure dedicated to the water; and there were built terraces, a system of waterways, fountains, etc.

The most impressive places in  Tipón are the wall that used to protect the enclosure, the Cruzmoqo viewpoint and the Intihuatana.

PROGRAM

We will start our Tour Tipon 1D, picking you up from your hotel in our modern tourist transport at 9:00 a.m. Then we will go to the South for 40 minutes. After that, we will arrive to Choquepata, and we will go to the parking. We will have to pay our tickets in the entry and into the place, we will walk with our tour guide who will explain us about the history and some facts of Tipon.

Subsequently, we will have  2 hours approx. to take photos. Then, we will have lunch in the same spot, and you could have lunch of your preference (pork, chicken, cuy, etc.); after that, we will return to the city of Cusco.

However, an optional route would be the visit to The Jurassic Park of Oropesa (20 minutes from Tipon), where you could have fun and take amazing photos with the dinosaurs that are in this park.
