A tour of the Sacred Valley Full Day is one of the most captivating experiences you can find in Cusco, offering stunning landscapes and the opportunity to explore the remnants of our ancestral history.

This tour includes important places as Pisac and Ollantaytambo, fortresses that still remain thought years; we could visit also an Interpretation Center called "Awanacancha", where you could enjoy feeding the South American camelids, and Chinchero a "textile place", where you will be able to learn the ancient techniques of knitting.

PROGRAM

AWANAKANCHA

We start our tour, picking you up from your hotel in our modern tourist transport. So, the first spot through our trip will be "Awanacancha", a Center of Textile Exhibition, where you could see how they obtain the wool from de South American camelids. This project benefits to 14 communities in the surrounding area.

PISAC

The second spot will be Pisac, that is 33 km. from Cusco, and it constitutes one of the most ancient Inca vestiges. Here, we could find tunnels, deposits, an Inca cemetery and various carved rocks. In this place, our guide will explain about the archaeological site, and we will have time to take some photos and videos. Then, we will visit the handicraft market, where you could acquire souvenirs for your trip.

OLLANTAYTAMBO

After having lunch, our next spot will be Ollantaytambo, a military, religious and agricultural center. There, our professional guide will account for the origins of this gorgeous place, that includes a ceremonial area for their god, the water and furthermore, agricultural terraces. In the same way, Pincuylluna center is located in this complex.

CHINCHERO

Our last spot will be Chinchero, on the way back to Cusco, a town recognized for its Textile Centers, due to many families knit clothes from the wool of Andean camelids. Here, the people still remain the ancient Inca practice of "trueque", that implies an exchange of goods between families.

Itinerary:

ITINERARY:

We will pick you up from your hotel at 7:00 a.m.
Our first stop will be Awanakancha (7:45 a.m. approx.)
Then, we will take photos and videos in the Interpretation Center (1 hour).
After that, we will go to archaeological center of Pisac.
At 9:30 a.m. we could enjoy the place, accompanied by our tourist guide. (2 horas).
We will have 30 minutes to visit and buy some souvenirs in the handicraft market.
Subsequently, we will take our transport to Urubamba at 12:30 p.m. approx.
Then, we could have your lunch in the restaurant of your preference at 1:30
We will go to Ollantaytambo at 2:30 p.m.
We will arrive at 3:00 p.m. and we will have time to take some photographs and videos during our visit.
At 4:00 p.m. we will be on the way back.
Our last stop will be at 5:00 p.m. in Chinchero (Handicraft Center).
Then, we will return at 6:00 p.m. to Cusco
Finally, at 7:00 p.m. approximately, we will arrive to Cusco.
